X-Stream Aeroponic Propagators

X-Stream Aeroponic Propagator

Ultimate heat control for large scale propagation

X-Stream Heat combines the heat and humidity retention of the X-Stream lid with an ultra accurate, thermostatically controlled heated base. Enough room for up to 450 seeds or cuttings!

Want to root cuttings faster, with a near 100% success rate and no root rot or drying out?

Then choose the X-Stream aeroponic propagator. The X-Stream mists cuttings to maintain ideal moisture and oxygen levels.

Cuttings are suspended in mesh pots in the propagator’s misting chamber and are constantly misted.

The constant supply of nutrient, water and oxygen, combined with the lack of restrictive growing medium, encourages roots to develop rapidly as they push out to access the nutrient solution & heat and humidity are fully controllable by gradually opening the large butterfly vents in the X-Stream propagator humidity dome.

Aeroponics has long been recognised as the most productive method of growing plants without soil. Instead of absorbing feed and water from running liquid, aeroponically grown plants receive theirs at root level through a fine mist.

This introduces large amounts of air into the equation for improved nutrient uptake and better root zone health.

Rooting times are vastly reduced and success rates are significantly increased not only that but root development also greatly improves. Your plants will clearly get the best possible start to life this way.

Advice

Which growing media?

When growing in an aeroponic system you’ll only ever use clay pebbles, with only handful per pot.

Clay pebbles provide the perfect environment for plant roots in an Aeroponic system, they absorb the fine mist produced by the systems sprinklers encouraging rapid root growth. Their shape provides pockets of oxygen throughout, this unrestricted access to oxygen results in faster growth and bigger yields.

Environmental conditions

Your nutrient strength and environment should be your key consideration when using an aeroponic system.

If it’s warm in your grow room and humidity is low, then you’ll notice that the plant will take up more water than nutrient, which will increase the strength of the nutrient. If this is allowed to continue it will have a detrimental to your plants health.

Make sure to check your nutrient strength (EC) and water levels as well as your pH every few days.

Constant feeding

Aeroponic systems are constant feeding, so there’s no need to worry or analyse the number or duration of your feeds. Your plants will feed when they want, this constant feeding technique results in optimum growth and yield.

There is no need to turn off or unplug the pump at any point during the plants lifecycle, doing so could be detrimental to your plants health.
